Povoas receives BRC global hygiene standard certification to run alongside ISO 9001:2008
The British Retail Consortium standard, awarded to Povoas Packaging in January 2013, enables us to offer a high level of quality and product safety in the manufacture of polythene packaging for food producers and retailers. The highly regarded standard is maintained by yearly audits where all aspects of hygiene and quality are monitored and tested.
The accreditation allows Povoas to expand its service offering to include packaging for direct contact food use and in particular, bags, film and liners. We believe it also demonstrates our wider commitment to both product safety and quality to all our customers operating in the wider retail sector.
